The TERA Sorcerer class is defined as a ranged class dispatching enemies from a distance with powerful elemental based spells. I personally preferred using the Sorcerer over other classes as I enjoy ranged classes however I knew Sorcerers do not wear heavy armor to withstand powerful attacks. I learned this the hard way; I was unaware Sorcerers were capable of receiving heavy hits from simple, low level monsters. Of course, at the beginning I was able to do moderate damage focusing on monsters and mobs in my cross-hair but without proper defence and strategy, my Sorcerer was bested on the field. I came to a realization far too late my Sorcerer was under equipped even if I purchased the best gear for my level.

Researching for online game guides wasn’t easy. I asked one of my online friends for some input into the matter and they told me to check out this place called KillerGuides.com I never heard of the website before so I went to the website. The website ensured players who purchase the all access pass unlimited membership would be eligible to download the entire library of guides featured on KillerGuides.com Instead, I went head to their Tera Online category and read about the Sorcerer and what KillerGuides could offer me. The website claimed to help me get through the game with epic gear. Trying out my luck, I bought their Sorcerer guide for $29.99 USD.

Upon opening the PDF file, the Sorcerer manual was laid our beautifully with an illustrated cover. Aesthetics aside, the guide featured the equipment section I was looking for. Reading the equipment section, I had to think about my progress at the moment. I headed over to one of the chapters on how to make gold in TERA. The chapter was well written , explaining step by step methods for quick, easy gold acquisition under an hour. It was like a routine: wash, rinse and repeat. Following explicit instructions, I gave the guide a shot. Upon closer examination, the guide specifically told me exactly where to go and which monsters to defeat not for gold but for crafting materials, which are more valuable than gold. These were simple and effective methods even I didn’t think about.

Heading back to the chapter about equipment, the author instructed me to head over to a crafting studio. I won’t go into much detail about how to craft since the guide is only a single license use (I don’t want to get into trouble for sharing!) so players would need to scout for more information from the TERA Sorcerer Reference Manual yourself!

Bottom line is: why would you want to waste money on buying items and equipment when instead, you can craft them for much cheaper? Of course, as with any MMORPG, some crafting materials could be ridiculously expensive but think about it before you buy it. In accordance to the manual, you could read about each crafted item plus the stats it provided.

Should you buy the guide or should you buy the entire TERA guide collection to up your game? Through personal experience, KillerGuides.com has lived up to its reputation producing game guides which aid players. Personally, it helped me in more ways than one, in a sense, in the end result not only did I achieve level 60 in 7 days as promised, I obtained epic gear and other misc. items through crafting.
